Kewarra Grange Angus
Kewarra Grange Angus combines strong agricultural heritage with a fresh chapter in the Northern Rivers. Brad and Cathy are building a professional, hands-on Angus enterprise where animal welfare comes first, cattle are handled gently every day, and small-acreage farmers can access quality Black Angus genetics without stud cattle prices.
When Brad and Cathy Cornish arrived at Aylesby in mid-2023 with their three adult children, they came with a dream: to begin regenerative farming practices and build a quality Black Angus cattle enterprise from the ground up.
For Brad, that connection started early, shaped by family ties to a Poll Hereford stud in the Widden Valley, agricultural studies at UNE Armidale, and time working on Angus studs across the Tablelands. Cathy also brings deep farming heritage through the Dean family’s long connection to agricultural land on the Coffs Coast.
Together, they travelled the east coast of NSW to hand-select the weaner heifers that would become the foundation of Kewarra Grange Angus. Today, their purebred cattle are quiet, well-bred and carefully checked by Brad at first light and dusk.
