Sunshine Sugar is a proudly Australian-owned business with deep roots in the Northern Rivers. Operating three sugar mills at Harwood, Broadwater and Condong, along with a refinery at Harwood, it is the only 100% Australian-owned producer of raw and refined sugar products.
A major local employer, Sunshine Sugar contributes around $280 million to the Northern Rivers economy each year and plays an important role in supporting local growers, communities and regional jobs. The business is also Bonsucro-certified, recognising its commitment to environmentally and socially responsible sugar production.
